The Minelab M15, M9 and M8 Search Coils are genuine accessory coils designed to expand the versatility and performance of the Minelab Manticore metal detector. Each coil offers unique advantages, allowing you to tailor your detector setup for maximum depth, improved ground coverage, or superior target separation depending on your detecting environment.
Manufactured to original specifications by Minelab, all coils feature advanced Double-D (DD) technology and are supplied with a coil cover (skid plate) as standard.

🔹 M15 Search Coil – 15 × 12" Elliptical DD
The M15 is the largest accessory coil for the Manticore, designed to deliver maximum depth and wide ground coverage. Ideal for open areas such as beaches, pasture land, and large fields, it allows you to cover more ground quickly while reaching deeper targets.
🔹 M9 Search Coil – 9" Round DD
The M9 is the lightest coil in the Manticore range, offering excellent manoeuvrability and balance. Its low-profile design makes it perfect for trashy sites and underwater detecting, while still maintaining impressive depth for its size.
🔹 M8 Search Coil – 8 × 5.5" Elliptical DD
The M8 is the smallest accessory coil, ideal for tight spaces, such as between rocks, shrubs, long grass, or stubble. Its compact size provides improved target separation in trashy ground and excellent sensitivity to small targets.
